Brendan Herley

Brendan is an experienced commercial banker with over 25 years’ experience in trade finance and syndicated loans, particularly in emerging markets. He regularly provides advisory services to clients on prevailing market conditions, investor appetite, and potential risks to profitability. While focused on the Americas, he tries to keep abreast of market activity the world over... particularly as it relates to issuance and pricing. Prior to joining Lumex, Brendan was Head of Business Development, Americas for Levantor Capital (2yrs), a Director in Wells Fargo Bank’s Financial Institutions Group (6yrs) - where he headed the distribution team for the Americas - and a Director in Standard Chartered Bank’s loan syndications team (10yrs). He also spent 8 years at London Forfaiting (in London and New York), and has been a board member of the Americas' chapter of the International Trade and Forfaiting Association since 2006.
Brendan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Geography from University College London and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from London University’s School of Oriental and African Studies
